Nokia has filed a patent for a mobile device with a flexible screen that activates certain apps depending on the shape of the phone. As shown in an earlier concept of the Nokia Morph, the display will consist of a transparent bending screen.

It the phone is bent to go round in the shape of a “can”, the phone will perform a specific function. The same applies if bent into a “bowl” or “tent” shape.

Though the patent is quite vague, the implication could have many possibilities. It is also great to see the Nokia Morph concept is still alive.
