Microsoft has issued an unscheduled fix to patch up some security holes in Internet Explorer. These holes had been the cause of recent computer attacks that Google had traced to China.

The patches cover from Internet Explorer version 5.01 to 8. Due to Microsoft’s lack of browser interest and support, we suggest trying out a more robust browser like Apple Safari, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.
