Apple May End AT&T Exclusivity

Rumor has it that Apple may end AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity as soon as Wednesday. Supposedly, AT&T may be the ones ending the exclusivity contract because they’re “tired of taking the heat” for poor reception based on iPhone users.

Basically, not only was able to keep their promise regarding tethering on the iPhone, it appears that their solution to improve their network is to lose exclusivity for the iPhone. What is nonsensical about the report is that AT&T officials actually believe that the iPhone is hurting the company’s image.

AT&T’s officials seem to have a twisted view of reality because Apple’s image seems to be hurting because of them. Once AT&T took over Cingular, they managed to get the worst network.
