The iPad Is Announced

Steve Jobs has officially announced the iPad. It looks just like the rumors mentioned, like an 10″ inch iPhone.

Here are some of the features:
- Built-in browser, mail, photos, calendar, maps, etc. iTunes Store included right on iPad. YouTube access.
- So much more intimate than a laptop. So much more capable than a smartphone.
- Music player is a hybrid between iPhone and regular iTunes.
- Showing off browsing: Apple, New York Times, Time

-compass, accelerometer, wifi, pretty much a big iPhone
-all iPhone apps are available for the iPad. They can also be modified for it.
-”iBooks” app has been created from Apple. The competition to Amazon’s Kindle
-iWork for the iPad with new User Interface, very impressive. It will cost $9.99 per app individually. (i.e. pages)
-Prepaid 3G plans with AT&T, no contract, cancel anytime.
-For AT&T plans, $14.99 for 250Mb, and $29.99 for unlimited plan. (Data only).
